An all-human extension of the old Hellfire groups, Homines Verendi hopes to profit from anti-Krakoan technology, spy work, and other terrorism for profit. They have essentially overthrown the government of Madripoor to establish a base of operations for their works.
Among their agents and allies have been Yellowjacket III and versions of Hate-Monger and X-Cutioner. Given the number of people who have worn those hoods, the exact identities of the last two are unknown.
