  • How Has the UXN been a Resource? Since the UXN is designed to be a comprehensive resource site – we thought it would be nice to find out HOW people had been using the site. Most seemed to remark about how it helped when they either started or – more than not – returned to comics after being gone for awhile.

  • After a long hiatus from comics, the UXN allowed me to catch up on the history of the X-Men without having to find and purchase each issue.
  • Like I said before, the issue summaries are invaluable to an avid X-Men reader.
  • Cela ma permis de découvrir des personnages ou des histoires que je n'es pas eu l’occasion de lire. Nous sommes plu nous pouvons aider..

  • UXN gives the X-Men dimensions.
  • Helped me realize the full scope and breadth of the X-Titles (and Teams) as well as their influence on other Marvel teams (what with all the crossovers). Easy means of figuring out which issues I need to find for certain events/characters.
  • This site taught me I didn't know as much as I thought I did about the X-Men or comics.
  • allowed me to catch up on the happenings in the classics
  • I had already known a lot in the universe, but this just helps get things cleared up or corrected, and I also use it as a confirmation station.
  • Let's just say before UXN the only way I knew about X-Men was from the cartoon.
  • It gives a lot of info on characters I never really cared about. It made me actually like a few of them.
  • It helps fill in gaps that comic reading alone cannot do. I have been reading X-men for about 15 years and I still learn something new with every visit.
  • It helped me fill in the blanks from my 5-year break.
  • a lot, I have spent hours going through old issue summaries, also if a character comes in an issue summary or comic that I have never heard of or want to know more about, the character glossary is a really good reference area.
  • It helped me get a grasp on the world of X-Men enough that i can explain certain to confused friends
  • Wonderfully. I am in the Navy and have (almost) six children, so I was out of comics for a few years. My wife now loves the X-Men so we used your site to get caught up! Six kids?!? To quote my grandfather – “You know what causes that, right?”

  • Definitely. I've been reading comics for a long time, but there is some stuff you just don't know unless you own every friggin' issue. I don't so it's a nice alternative.

  • After being X-Less for a few years, I stumbled across the site, and since then, I've been able to catch up from where I left off, and follow more of the X-Men story than I could just by reading a few books a month.
  • After being introduced to the X-Men universe through the movie, I found I wanted to learn more about the characters. This site by far is the most complete site to the X-Men characters, history and storylines.
  • Since in Latin America, comics aren't available everywhere; I can read a summary of a past issue which I have not read on your site and it is very convenient.
  • If I was wondering what happened in the history of a character or if I wanted clarification on events mentioned, I would look it up here.
  • You guys have definitely answered some questions that I had. I have a fairly comprehensive knowledge due to how many X-Men issues I own, but it's awesome to have a community of so many peoples knowledge collected in one place. It's tough on your own.
  • It fills me on what I've missed in the past and the notes at the end of the summaries & the summaries let me have a better understanding of the stories.
  • It has renewed my interest in the X-Men and it helps me to catch up to recent storylines.
  • back story
  • Having lost interest in comics shortly after issue 300 of UXM, I have been able to familiarize myself with the history I'm missing. I find the site also helps me to keep track of the ambiguous continuity between titles.
  • I stopped collecting X-titles (and all forms of comic books actually) in the late 90's and the site has been invaluable in allowing me to catch up with the myriad changes the X-characters have undergone over the years.
  • It lets me in on some of the past plotlines that are being referenced in the current titles
  • I understand a character when it appears out of nowhere. I'm new at comics and would have no idea how certain things played in without the back story. Michael Reyes is a perfect example. W/out UXN I have no idea who Cecilia Reyes is.
  • It's a good way to look up past storylines and characters, especially since I only started reading comics two years ago. I needed to figure out who all of these people were and the website helped.
  • It's helped me understand many of the plots, character info, and stuff that has been put out before I was born, to catch me up.
  • I have read old issues I cannot find
  • It helps give me background on characters I'm unfamiliar with, like Rev. Stryker and Alpha Flight.
  • I know more of the back stories and it has helped me clarify certain story arcs
  • if I am unsure about something X-Men related I check it out here
  • Greatly. It's made me want to get back into comics really badly.
  • It's been indispensable in helping me keep track of all the numerous back-stories from the silver/bronze age stories.
  • It filled in some holes in my knowledge of the X-universe and provided me with something to read in my lunch hour!
  • It has informed me of information on characters I wouldn't have ordinarily read about through the character spotlights.
  • It hasn't
  • Yeah. I like to know some spotlights of former members of the X-men. I understand that Wolverine is hard because Wolverine profile is too much larger profile than others. I didn’t know Alpha Flight, but now I do.
  • Of course. I had NOOOO idea what age of apocalypse was until i visited this site
