Ever Expanding

Going back to the Roots After the Ultimization of the logo, the next stop was what Claremont called the Core Book of the era, even though others would probably disagree with him on the matter. Peter Luzifer dived in and brought us the cast of Excalibur, taking us back to the main Marvel Universe.

Love is in the Air To mark the month of February and its holiday, Valentine’s Day, we decided to get in touch with our romantic sides and feature some of those famous X-Men couplings. This month also saw the release the first version of the relationship map on the site.

Another Age To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Age of Apocalypse storyline, Marvel released a new mini-series. Naturally, we couldn't miss up the opportunity to join in the fun and update the logo to match.

Teasing the coming Onslaught As we were reaching the final stages of preparation for the Onslaught Event Month, it was decided we'd put a teaser logo on the site. The Sentinels were used because we thought a bit of misdirection was needed and make people think we might be doing a Technology Month instead. Of course, a few weeks later the truth was revealed.

Onslaught is here Probably the most anticipated and difficult Event Month to occur at the site up till this point, Onslaught arrived and, to tie in with the event, Onslaught took control of the logo.

Teasing again After trying some misdirection with Onslaught, we thought we would have another go and tease people with a Wolverine logo as a spotlight on the little fella is one of the most sought-after things on the site.

Bring on the Canadians So why tease Alpha Flight? Well, this logo was used to celebrate hitting 2500 summaries on the site and also the longest run of continuous summaries by a contributor, Daytripper (Steven Bishop), on a given title, the aforementioned Alpha Flight.
